One of the best bars in all of Charlotte. Comet has really good bar food, and if you’re a fan of burgers, be sure to try The All American. Also, the veggie chili is better than the regular chili. The fries are awesome. If you’re looking for a laundry list of overpriced IPAs, Comet is not for you. Instead, pull up to the bar and grab a PBR or a Miller Lite. At the end of the day, that’s all you need.

Late valentine’s day date. We get burgers at a different place every year since 2016. The Comet Grill did not disappoint. Had local Mom & Pop /dive bar vibes, seemed like everyone there knew each other. We started with a few local brews and the fried pickles. They were lightly breaded and cooked perfectly, the serving size was huge, we took at least half to go. I got the Biggz burger. Suz got the Comet classic. Both were pwrfectly cooked to order. Rory loved the fries. Rory was extra low and talkative, everyone was very amused with him, which was nice. We’ll definitely be back.

This is my first time ever going I went with a friend his brother works there. I didn’t know what to get so I follow his lead and ended up with the hot dog special. I love little spice so I asked him did they have jalapenos they said yes so I got them on the side. I will be going back trust me I love the atmosphere.

Best buffalo shrimp in Charlotte! Add this to the fact that the burgers are fantastic (hand patted, JUICY and cooked to order) and the fries sublime (hand cut, crispy on the outside, tender on the inside) means this is an outstanding place to grab a bit to eat. Great selection of beer on tap too….
