I love this place it has such a modern fun colorful and chill vibe. The drinks are always good and the food is awesome, my husband said his steak was good. My tomato and burrata sandwich was awesome it’s such a good combo and the Nashville shrimp was excellent it is spicy with a bit of sweetness it was so good! The Lemon Gateau is excellent and so pretty it has this pop of lemon with the creaminess of the white chocolate and the crust was awesome. The coffee here and pastries is always so good here. The reason why I am rating the service three stars is because our appetizers always come out with our entrees or our entrees come out before the appetizer, we were also told that the bar is no longer a thing as well. But besides those few things this is a great place to have food that’s aesthetically pleasing and actually taste very good.

Common Bond Bisto & Bakery is a great spot to spend your morning at getting a coffee or brunch. We decided to visit this location & was pleasantly surprised at how nice the surrounding area is. The location is below an office building, but there seemed to be plenty of free parking as long as you do not mind the short walk down the street. My wife ordered a matcha latte, a cinnamon & sugar croissant, & a French onion soup. I ordered a vanilla latte, the turtle brownie, & the chefs scramble. Between us, the total was $47, so this is a bit pricey compared to usual brunch locations. We ordered the lattes iced, but they were delivered hot. We didn’t mind as they were good. The turtle pastry was rich but full of flavor. It had a nice balance between the dark chocolate & pecans, with neither being too overwhelming. The chef scramble featured scrambled eggs with fresh veggies cooked in them, which was a nice twist. The bacon & biscuit weren’t anything special, but the potatoes were delicious. It was almost like a hashbrown casserole but fried. The interior of the bakery was very modern & had a relaxing environment even with all of the seats being filled. The art, lights, & plants added a nice touch to the experience. Overall, we enjoyed our experience & would recommend having brunch here on a Sunday morning.

Excellent brunch menu and very flavorful. It is pricey but nice ingredients and nice outdoor area to sit and then walk around. The avocado smash was great and the egg scramble was delicious and herbaceous.

Love this place for brunch! They have a lot of brunch/breakfast/lunch options plus full alcohol and coffee bar. For coffee I got a flat white and my boyfriend got a vanilla latte. We both enjoyed them. I got biscuits and gravy to eat and it was good! The biscuits were fluffy and the gravy was tasty and a little spicy. And there were runny eggs on top which mixed so well with it all. My boyfriend got the Benedict and said it was good too. This is a really solid brunch option!

One thing about me, I love pistachio croissants, AND great service. This place is AMAZING. Emily is a god, and the macchiatos here are DELICIOUS!!! They’re the authentic kind, not like the Starbucks nonsense. So if you’re like Marci, and get mad about REAL coffee, you’re a looooser

Sat having coffee for over an hour, 5/6 outdoor tables had trash and dishes on the table the entire time. Waited for them to toast a croissant for 30 minutes, when I finally went in to ask for it i told them about the tables and they did nothing about it. Not what I’d expect from a cafe that charges $16 for biscuits and gravy. The wait was long too, clearly the business is short staffed and management needs to hire more workers.

I haven’t tried anything outside of the desserts yet, but from the desserts alone I am very satisfied by the options! They have pastries, macarons and cakes, and they all are made unique and full of flavor. My personal favorite is the turtle brownie. The fruit tart is really good as well, and is literally covered with fruits. It’s clearly a “looks good” type dessert bakery, but the taste is good as well. Pricey, but worth it if you like unique desserts which still have good flavor. I recommend buying it to go and then taking it out to the City Place area to eat in the park.

Delicious food and a great atmosphere! I’m here visiting from DC and Common Bond was on the list of ‘must visit’ places. It did not disappoint! I absolutely loved my shrimp and grits! The strawberry cheesecake was beautiful and delicious! And, my froze was AWESOME!!! Whenever I visit Houston, I’ll be sure to make a stop by Common Bond as well.
