Spectacular! The dishes are elegantly presented, the flavors are so bright and fresh, and the service was excellent. Take everyone’s advice & order the curry. I ordered a flight of kombucha because I’d never tried it before. Some of the flavors were a little too wild for me, but they were all interesting and I did find a couple I liked. Highly recommend this quaint restaurant!

I took my son visiting from Durham, NC. We are vegans and thoroughly enjoyed the food. We started with the full kombucha flight and kimchi tacos, then had a kimchi pancake and shan tofu ending with a serendipitously made dessert of mulberry fudge, with aronia berry sorbet, coconut yogurt flavored with saffron and delicious local black raspberries., chocolate mint and bee pollen.

I visited Confluence Kombucha in February of 2017. It was an awesome experience and the food was delicious. Beware that this is a small space & the people seated next to you are so close they can hear your conversation and you theirs. But if you enjoy Kombucha and you want to try vegetarian/vegan cuisine, being in a small space is worth it. My least favorite dish was the tempeh, but I never liked tempeh. It says something about the restaurant if I was willing to try a dish that I knowingly do not like. I was hoping they’re success with the other dishes would spill over to tempeh, but no it didn’t.

Okay, so I’m not anything close to a vegan but I tried it and I liked it! Yeah, you heard me right! The place indoors is a little small but they Do have a nice little outdoors patio. Lot of kombucha to choose. Hope you, like me can try them, I don’t think you’ll be sorry.

Probably one of the most unique dining experiences I’ve had in quite some time. I home brew kombucha, so it was great to taste some new combinations and you can tell a lot of love goes into both their brewing and their cuisine. Our food was incredible and well thought out, I was a bit nervous to try new dishes I’ve never heard of, but it was so worth it! They clearly seek to not only feed you, but nourish your body with wholesome food.

Waitress was very knowledgeable. Kombucha super yummy. Alters are beautiful. Vegetarian friendly. If you’re going for food this place is not cheap by any means and probably not somewhere to get full. This someone to have a lovely experience or to drink Kombucha but not to grab lunch in personal opinion. Really enjoyed it though.

Traditionally prepared and eclectic foods share the space with quite a delicious variety of kombucha. Get a flight and try up to 8 flavors at once.

I was very put off by my visit to Confluence Kombucha. A maskless man eventually opened the door after several rings and ignored us until we ordered. When we got our sampler, he mumbled the names of the kombucha and then went into the back, never to return. When we were ready to pay, we spent several minutes trying to get his attention. However, he never responded and so we left our money on the table. This particular staff member did not seem to be taking any cleanliness/ safety precatutions and definitely seemed like he didn’t want to be there. Though the Kombucha was good, it was an uncomfortable experience. We all decided to fill our howlers elsewhere from now on.

Call it hipster, call it whatever, just go try it. The kombucha is all very flavorful and varied. If you haven’t had Kombucha before, start out with the best in the area and come here. In addition to the amazing drinks, they also feature an amazing menu full of delicious options, from miso pickled mushrooms to kimchi stuffed avocado, you can’t pick wrong! Everything is made with high quality ingredients and prepared with care. Come for the Kombucha, but don’t miss out on the amazing food!

This is the place of magicians. The flavors of Kombucha I tried blew my mind. The owner is an amazingly passionate soul who is sharing his amazing gift with the community. I am so grateful we decided to stop by just before closing. We had a flight along with the amazing tacos and then shared in delightful conversations. This made my night and I will remember this experience for a long time.
