We were finally able to visit Consuelo a couple of weeks ago and loved it. I’ll be honest, the early reviews made us hold off on going but they have picked up of late so we decided to give it a try. The first thing that impressed me was the decor, very well appointed and comfortable (we were had a high top and the chairs were great, even for the short member of our party.) I could not decide on a margarita and our wonderful server recommended the flight – excellent choice – all were delicious and I got to try more than one. They were all so good not sure that I could pick my favorite. The food was delicious and you could tell these were quality, house made tortillas – so fresh! My husband had tacos and I got enchiladas. The sauces were so good, you could really taste the different flavors in the three sauces and knew they did not come out of a can or jar. No room for dessert but maybe on our next trip as we will be back.

My fiancé and I had dinner here this week. The atmosphere, service, food, and drinks were all excellent! The owner welcomed us with a hand shake and prepared a table for us immediately. We had the ceviche trio appetizer and all three were amazing. They tasted so fresh. The cocktails were expertly crafted and the entree’s were delicious. Our server Raul was very helpful and knowledgeable about the menu. This is a very nice upscale Mexican restaurant and a great addition to the square. We will be back!

We visited this restaurant with the intention to just grab a couple drinks and they were absolutely delicious. I order the cazuela which it says is meant to be shared. We also order cucumber mojitos. The staff is really nice, the place is clean, well decorated. This is the type of restaurant you want to go for a drink and enjoy a good time in a good atmosphere. We didn’t eat but definitely coming back!
