I hate giving bad ratings but this restaurant really needs some serious work.

The server’s English is a little bit limited. There was a detailed bill for us. Dish size was OK at about $20 each. I got very thirsty that evening. Food taste was good I guess.

The service wasn’t good, the food was horrible, and the prices were high for what you get. The drinks were good. We ordered chicha and maracuya, and I think that’s all I liked. The place is nice, the restrooms are clean, but definitely wouldn’t come back.

The food was good. Hands down. However, management needs to invest in maintenance, kind of big time. Bathroom tiles on the floor are falling apart, the decor is completely outdated and I guess nobody dusts because I saw large cobwebs by a corner….it feels totally like a hole on the wall, but the food, as I said, was good. I ordered #59 fried fish with salad and rice.nI was not disappointed.

Ordered 2 cazerolas de mariscos (full size). $19.99. Compared to Costa Verde, for less price, the amount of sea food was disappointing. The size of calamari, shrimps, fish were like a 1% of any other I have ordered from different places. I was looking forward to it as all peruvian restaurants I have had have been pretty good. I also order platanos fritos and got tostones so hard and stiff, I was concerned with my teeth. It was like they were from the day before and had been refried.

My wife & I went there for dinner on a rainy night. One waitress spoke no English, and my wife has dietary restrictions we needed to talk about. Another waitress helped. I had no idea what some menu entries are. So, we wound up ordering a couple of Mexican dishes. Food was so-so. Service was not good. Prices were extraordinarily high for the quality of the food. We were the only diners there. They were polite, and turned down the loud Latin music (she has a medical problem – magnetic field from loud speakers will re-set the shunt in her head). Perhaps it would have been better if we had ordered something Peruvian, but there was no one to talk with. Not a good experience.

Food had absolutely no flavor everything tasted pretty bland and it wasn’t just me. I came here witn Co workers on our lunch break so it was about 7 of us. Everyone said they would never come again. Temp of food was good and it was even presented well. But, between the food tasting bland, taking a pretty long time to get it to us there is no reason for me to spend money there again.

Went here to enjoy a birthday dinner with my wife and found a bug crawling in her salad. Entire dinner ruined! Fought to eat my dinner which was just ok..wife was scared to eat. Ended up getting a to go box. $60 bucks down the drain. No discount for the disgust. Just an apology and a free dessert containing milk for my lactose intolerant wife. NEVER AGAIN!! Very disappointed.

Hold on to your money at this place!! Dinner for 3 adults and 2 kids will cost you $117!! For an order of fried plantain $3.93, which is actually one plantain cut into 4 pieces… lomo saltados were $33 each! These prices are not the same at their other location BY FAR! The food tasted good, but you can go to a decent steakhouse for that price! For as good as they can make it, it is NOT worthy of the price!
