The service here was lacking quite a bit. We placed our order then went to sit down at a table. All the benches for the tables were so close, it was difficult to slide our legs between the benches to get seated. Next we got our order. The count on the kids nuggets were off, so we had to go ask for more nuggets. Next we inspected our chicken quesadillas only to find out there was no chicken. So we had to get that corrected. The best thing was that they had Cheerwine available at the time.

Truly one of the most amazing culinary discoveries of my life! The food is SO bad, you can’t even be mad. The whole setup is so disarmingly honest and unpretentious, it leaves you with great laughter.

Ordered two “regular burgers” to go. Paid for and received two “huge burgers” which means TWO THICK burgers on one bun X2. Cost: $4.99 EACH. Burger tasted great! But way too much to eat and too expensive. My dining partner LOVED the banana shake! Employees were friendly.

I always get a good burger when I stop at Cook Out. Chili, slaw, and cheese over a burger with onion rings and a corn dog on the side. CheerWine Cola to finish it off. Of course I had to get a Hot Fudge shake to go.

Friendly staff, clean restaurant. Good portions, reasonable prices. I had my food less than 5 minutes after ordering, it was hot and tasty. They also have a good variety of ice cream drinks. Convenient if you’re staying at the Hampton Inn next door.

I have always loved the cheap prices and delicious food that Cook Out offers. However, we are very disappointed and surprised at the Lexington location’s service and food. Ordered a double burger tray and a few corn dogs. The corn dogs were burnt and had holes in them (did not look appetizing) and the “double burger” was far from that. As seen in the photos, the patties were tiny oval burnt things. I have never seen such a badly done burger at a fast food restaurant. I would have turned around immediately to tell management and get something else but they never gave me a receipt.

Great place. Stopped here for lunch while on vacation and we were so pleased with our choice. Service was extremely quick. Staff were so friendly and food was excellent. We got the trays and LOVED the cheese bites. Burger and chicken strips were great and my husband enjoyed the hush puppies. Highly recommended

This is the best establishment in Lexington by far. Food is great. Prices are so low. The vibe is immaculate. Preferred time to visit is after 11:30pm.

Even with rising cost, it is still hard to beat the amount of food you get with a tray meal. Always my go to when I want a cheap burger and plenty of side options as well as milkshake flavors. The drive thru is usually fast and plenty of indoor seating.

Our order was so sloppy!! We ordered walking tacos & the out side of the Dorito bag was covered with chili The fries had so much seasoning on them we couldn’t eat them They definitely won’t get my business again. This isn’t the 1st time we ordered from there & the food wasn’t fit to eat!! If you only want a milkshake or drink you will probably be ok. Our fries
