I personally would not go there again. They will only give you 2 sauces per tray, which from a business perspective is reasonable, but the part that is unreasonable is you cannot buy a 3rd sauce no matter what. I was told that I would have to buy another tray to get a 3rd sauce. That is absolutely ridiculous. I had to go to Wendys and get an extra honey mustard which should be downright embarrassing for cookout. Not to mention they shorted me on my food and gave me regular fries instead of Cajun. People who like sauce stay away from this place!

This was only my second time going to cookout. I had previously visited one in Salisbury, MD and honestly wish there were more in MD. Great burgers none the less and the trays are a pretty good value. While I was there I figured I would also try the watermelon shake. It wasn’t bad but it felt like half the contents of the shake were watermelon chunks you had to eat with a spoon. A good idea just not carried out great in my opinion. So unless you want that stick to the other shake flavours.

I have never been so disappointed. We waited a long time. Then find we are missing my son’s chicken tenders plate, my oldest son’s burger is missing his bacon and all 7 plates had super hard fries that were inedible. I have always bragged on cook out. This is beyond sad. Then the person talked to at the restaurant was rude. I am debating the idea of ever returning. Be wary.

Midnight trip since it’s the only thing open late. Service was fast. Usually there’s a line or 2, wrapped around the building, but the staff works quickly and it doesn’t take long to be served hot food.

I am one, who gives a second chance. In this case, I’ve given a dozen. I’m done, I’ll travel to Thomasville. My chicken is always so hard, or chewy I can’t eat it. Not to mention it barely fits the tiny bun. Lexington cookout, I don’t see you making it. Which is sad.

Waited at least 10 minutes at the register with no one else in line and employees looking at us and never spoke so we left. Went back months later and said it was open at 10:30 sat in the parking lot til after 11 and the doors were locked, we left again without eating there. I like cookout usually but the one in Lexington needs a good manager.

Ordered two sides of cheese bites, didnt even get enough to count as one side. Its a shame because other than this seeming to happen everytime I get two sides I really like this place.

This is my third time here at this place. The first time was not good at all. They had just opened and nothing there was not right with the order. So I waited for 7 months and went back and it was so much better the second time. Everything was good. But this time it was great. The service was great and the double burgers tray tasted great. I got mine with a chicken wrap and chicken quesadilla. Just give them a try and come back and let me know what you thought.

The food is good as always but I swear every time I go here the price is gone up. And I come here at least once a month.

We saw a lot of signage advertising these places. We stopped in for a snack. Had to go in as the drive thru person could not hear! We got 3 shakes, corn dog, quesadilla, hamburger and onion rings. A fair sampling. I had high hopes for the shakes . Vanilla with meager mixed in ingredients. The peanut butter fudge, was vanilla with some peanut butter mostly on the bottom. The double chocolate… well it was vanilla lightly tinted …
