Bright and cheerful ambience. I am a vegetarian and when I couldn’t get anything vegetarian from menu the young man at the counter offered to make me an impromptu vegetarian sandwich ! Now that’s southern hospitality and genuinely inclusive and service oriented attitude. Hats off to Cookout and it’s staff. The young girl who helped me to get extra spoons was also very pleasant with a genuinely warm smile.

We ordered 2 meals waited 20 minutes, get our food. Husband opens his double cheeseburger to find a tiny burger and then an even smaller one. The tomato was bigger than larger burger. Not first time getting a double burger so I go ask the manager who says yes one burger is larger then second is smaller, that’s the way we make it. Really looks like they took one burger and split it to make two. Asks if we want a new one because she admitted they were very small. We just waited 20 minutes for this. Also rude. Plus employee just outside door smoking so you have to walk through it.

I come here quite frequently, maybe once a week, and I always order the same thing. Quality doesn’t really change so that by itself is fine but every time I order Cajun fries it’s a toss up whether or not it will actually have seasoning on it. The fries suck by itself so without Cajun seasoning it just tastes bland. Of the 4 times I went during lunch hours and I asked for Cajun fries, 100% I got it without any Cajun seasoning. Dinner hours has like a 75% chance of it being seasoned which is why if you are going to get Cajun fries, come at night.

Amazing, I wish all cookouts were like this one. I wouldn’t eat anything else. Actually being able to place my order without being rudely rushed is a great experience. The food also is prepared right and tastes great. This is the best cookout I’ve been to.

I haven’t eaten here in a while…things still aren’t great, yet. I ordered a burger tray and the tomato and onion were bigger than the burger. It was more like a little sausage patty. Maybe it’s the economy, but if you’re gonna drive up the prices can we get an actual BURGER? I am disappointed yet again. Fries and slaw, excellent, but now the tea taste watered down…

Took a while to get waited on…but the young lady cleaning the floor came back to the counter to help me. She was very pleasant. Food came more quickly than anticipated. Order was mostly correct and it tasted fine.

I’ve been pretty happy with this cookout. I tend to avoid the drive through as that can cause problems with getting the order correct. Burgers are great (I get the “huge” – not on the menu, but it is 2 large patties), throw on some fresh jalapenos (they are hot), some other fixings and it is quite delicious. Finish up with a milkshake to go (order the separate as it can delay your food order). Fries and hush puppies have been delicious too.

I would recommend coming here. I have been here a few times and the food is good. The service is alright and the staff work to get orders together and out. The wait time was kind of long the first time we went there, but it is ok to wait 20 or so minutes for us. I like the milk shakes the most. The menu can be bit confusing and too much to read at first, but that is part of their style. The only thing I think could be improved on here is the drive thru. It is confusing because there are make shift cones that create a separate lane for when the line gets too long. I have seen two times people coming into the parking lot and cutting in line and not getting in behind the cone lanes. This is a little annoying. However, the food is good here and the service is alright all the times I have been here.
