I’ve seen negative posts about this particular location, but I never had a bad experience in the past when I did go. Today changed that. Ordered 4 trays with milkshakes. The milkshakes were hardly blended. The fries were soggy and the sides were very minimal. I do not plan to return to this location in the near future. Two milk shakes were suppose to be oreo mint, one cherry cheesecake, and one snickers. This picture is the oreo mint milkshake (without mint)

The first step is admitting you have a problem. As a recent transplant from the North, Cook Out has quickly become my secret addiction and favorite fast food stop. Fried appetizers are one of my favorites and the hush puppies are the best I’ve had. The onion rings are deeelicious too! And I cannot stop my 1am late night milkshake rendezvous. Are they all open super late? The nightowl in me truly appreciates it… I can’t get enough of Cook Out. Maybe someday they’ll end up over the Mason Dixon line so my friends and family back home can indulge too!

I can’t really rate the atmosphere because I went through the drive through but I can say the food was hot,delicious and the proportions were surprisingly large. I had a hamburger tray and the hamburger had double meat and the patties were actually bigger than the bun but it was delicious! The French fries filled up the rest of the tray and they were hot and delicious as well! Go Cook Out!

food is always great. they never forget anything on your order. food is pretty much always fresh. DONT go to the cookout on harden st. even if harden is closer dont go. hardens closer than garners and we always go to garners ferry cookout because id rather drive the extra few miles for decent food.

First off I see why people use the main lane and not the secondary one. The main lane done had 5 cars order and get their food and I’m sitting at the menu board waiting on someone to answer. Then when I get my food the chicken nuggets cold. When this establishment first opened it was defiantly a pleasure come. I don’t know what happened in the few years I was gone but it has defiantly gone down hill. And unfortunately this is not my first bad experience. Since I moved back to SC.

I ordered A double cheeseburger extra pickle extra onion , And this is what I got, And mine Burger patty was cut in half to make a double burger went back spoke with the manager she apologized but didn’t even offer me another burger All I wanted was a nice burger and this is the mess I get, Garners Ferry Road Columbia S.S CookOut!!! Worst service ever! While placing the order, they kept switching between people taking the order, neither were friendly. After leaving we got about 20 minutes up the road, 2 of the 3 orders were messed up. We turned around only to find the inside was locked so no other choice but the drive thru with the SAME TWO PEOPLE SWITCHING IN BETWEEN trying to tell them the order was messed up only the keep cutting my husband off – we finally were told to pull to the window for the guy to never apologize, keep cutting my husband off AGAIN and laughing at him as he slammed the window in his face. The order was a chicken and cheese ONLY sandwich which was covered in lettuce, tomato and Mayo. The two chicken and cheese only quesadillas were cheese only.
