It really is a classic drive-in food was awesome. The grilled cheese monster was indeed a monster of a sandwich and was really good as long as your mouth is big enough. My vanilla ice cream and root beer float took me back to when I was a kid. Highly recommend even if you’re heading past on the highway definitely worth the stop

LOVE THIS PLACE!!! Just barely off the US-69 and so worth the stop! Stay in your car or take advantage of their outdoor booths! Good service, great food, and at such a reasonable price. My only regret is that I didn’t get a chance to go back my last day in town!!!

Cookees took over where Streeters restaurant left off. The food was just delicious, nice and hot, flavorful. Just like the old diner you used to go to. Friendly service, prices what you’d expect they’re little high but so is everybody else nowadays.

What a fantastic hidden lil drive in burger diner. The waitress will come to your car like an old school car hop and don’t worry you will be out of there before you know it. They were on top of everything! Prompt and thorough waitresses, reasonable priced burgers, outdoor seating and fantastic food with huge portions. Thank you ladies for the fantastic service. The burgers are old school beef patties, not the pressed frozen stuff. We will be back for sure…it’s worth the 30 mile drive for this one, one way. For sure. Thank you you all. We are stuffed. Even enjoyed sharing a banana split.

Small town with a decent little diner. You can sit inside or at the picnic tables or in your car. Friendly service and good food at a fair price. Love the grilled onions on my cheeseburger!

Never got served. Lady took other people’s order after we arrived. Kept saying they were going to take our order. So I’m assuming if you’re not a local, you don’t get service. Would give 0 stars if could.
