Interesting decor for a Cafe, but I like it. Sure beats the stark white, sterile atmosphere of ordinary cafes. I wish I had taken a pic of the walls but I was liking the floor.

I had the Sunny Way breakfast sandwich, it was excellent! Perfectly cooked bacon, eggs, and home fries (home fries were a little well done, but tasted great). This is a cozy spot and great for a full breakfast experience. The coffee is decent, my only critique is the cutlery – its flimsy and I bent my fork, minor issue but worth mentioning.

The stuffed waffles and chicken and waffles here are absolutely incredible. I love to order the banana and Nutella one, and the bananas are literally stuffed within the waffles. We arrived at 12:30pm for lunch and got seated immediately. If we arrived earlier, we would have to wait about 30-40 minutes. Score!

Better than average breakfast diner. Eggs were fresh, smoked bacon was good, bread fresh and food was prepared well. I really loved the atmosphere. Marble with a touch of mahogany and old fashioned brass…bathrooms and all. Tile on the floor was pretty nice. I would have given them a 4 plus, but once we were sat, we waited for 10 minutes to order and then another 30 minutes before our food arrived. Just too much waiting after we were sat and it wasn’t that busy either. In all, it was a better than average experience.

Cooks café is absolutely an awesome hidden gEm!! they only stay open till 2 o’clock, so don’t sleep in! The food is plenty. The prices are very decent! The people are nice the food taste and looks wonderful!! but again, they only stay open till 2 o’clock in the afternoon every day!

I’ve been here twice and truly believe this is the best breakfast in Lincoln. The food is phenomenal and there are a lot of great options to choose from. Prices are good, service is very friendly and quick. I do recommend calling ahead as they usually do have a wait. This is definitely our new go to breakfast spot! Highly recommend
