2023_08_18 We had just left a tennis tournament at South Christian. I asked my son to look up hot dog places and he found Cooks Hot Dog Drive In. I’ve never been there but I’m happy we did! The food was quick and great along with the service. Fun place for a quick bite to eat!

Absolutely fantastic! I’ve waited for 40 years to get back to My Favorite Chili Dog! And they were just as awesome as I remembered! The Cashier was Wonderful…friendly, helpful, kind, knowledgeable & obviously had been there for a very long time! She was so fun! The atmosphere was just so fun inside & out with a bit of history, memorabilia, & friendly, cozy, homey feeling!

My favorite place to get a nice root beer float after a rough day as a pick me up, The GR dog is easily my favorite out of all the hot dogs they offer. The staff are also super friendly if you can catch them during one of the slow times and have time for a chat they’re wonderful people.

Great selection of hot dogs, love the Chicago dog but you have to try their root beer, it’s amazing! They have a variety of shakes and malts, chips, sodas… The patio is perfect for nice days.
