We were driving through Montpelier and stopped here for lunch. The tomato basil soup was wonderful, probably one of the best tomato soup I’ve had. The meatloaf was good and filling, had excellent flavor. I tried the country gravy with my potatoes: it had good flavor, but I would have preferred it to be thicker. I’d definitely stop back in again.

An awesome staff, lot’s of fun! Good prices and the food is delicious, the Parmesan garlic fries are Amazing! Not to mention the perfection of their home made sauces. The ranch is like a bit of heaven on the tongue,and the tartar sauce is light and just perfect, I’ve never tasted a better tartar sauce. … And as it say’s on the menu, the Deep fried cheese cake WILL change your life! I love this place, it is my new GO TO place when I’m in Montpelier.

This place was great, especially for our two kids. They have a great kids meal that includes ice cream at the end (excellent incentive!) The food was delicious, the place is cozy and the staff was WONDERFUL! Definitely will be coming again the next time we’re in town.

Oh my heck, you have GOT to try this place. The mashed potatoes are AMAZING! Homemade and wonderful. The salad dressings are also homemade and very good. My chicken was cooked perfectly. The service was soooo good. Nothing but good to say about this small town, sweet restaurant!

Service was a little slow. Prices were a little high and the food was very good but not great. Still, best restaurant you will find for 30 miles or more. Just as good as the places in Garden City. Breakfast is the best meal served here.

My food, the rib tips where great loved them, but my wifes steak didnt live up to the price. She was still hungry afterwards. Restaurant was clean and we got right in. We did have problems with our water cups never getting refilled, waitress kind of disappeared umtil the end. I would still recommend the rib tips.
