We stumbled upon Copalis Cove by chance- our usual places were closed on Tuesday AM for breakfast service during Summer (really? There are PLENTY of people out here!) and now we’re hooked.

Three of us went for dinner. We really wanted to love it but they are not quite up to their best yet. The smoked beef dip was good but the au jus was lacking in flavor. The onion rings were overcooked and sliced too thin. The cheeseburger was OK. The topping ratio to meat to bun was a bit off. The meat was not seasoned well so the taste was more everything but the beef. The nachos were disappointing. The menu said they came with a generous mound of cheese. Not true. There was cheese on maybe 1/4th of the chips but 75% were dry and the toppings just fell off the chips. The chopped tomato did not seem fresh and were lacking in flavor. The taco meat had a off putting taste that didn’t appeal to me. The ice tea was refreshing. They have done a wonderful job with the remodeling. Clean, bright comfortable dining room. Bathrooms were very well kept, new and clean.

Have to admit we tried this new place out due to the rave reviews on the Oceam Shores Facebook page. OMG! They were so right!!! Absolutely delightful place! Food was fantastic, setvice was amazing and they did a full circle improvement and totally leaned up the place!!! Wow! Our server was quite helpful both about the offerings but also clearly a member of the Ocean Shores community for years. He was an absolute delight!! The food was great as well. I had chicken strips and hubby had rhe shrimp poboy. The feench fries were great too… And they have Diet Coke… Not to mention all sorts of other libations. Blew my mind! We’re coming back for the prime rib breakfast. All kinds of pics including the menu..

Nice atmosphere, great service, tasty food. I had the Captain Grays Shrimp Poor Boy with onion rings and a dinner salad. The shrimp were crispy, the bun was soft, and the sauce was sweet and tangy. The onion rings were super delish – the description didn’t mention beer in the batter, but I sensed a hint of hops. Had to take off a star because, as you can (or probably can’t) see in the photo, there were only 5 shrimp on the sandwich. The ratio of bread to filling tipped too far into the bread zone. And, the dinner salad was only iceberg and shredded cheese. A few diced tomatoes would’ve gone a long way towards making it feel more complete. Ah, well. Still a nice new place in town. Will be back to try some other things.

Worst service we have had in quite awhile. Took 35 minutes for server to come take drink order. Drinks and food took exceptionally long – they had one bartender and one server for the whole place. Server was completely inattentive to tables. Would not go back or recommend.

Been here 3 times in two days, lovely place, modern decor. Feels friendly and the atmosphere is wonderful. Still new and ironing out details but overall phenomenal experiences every time. The food is delightful and portions are generous. Breakfast is delightful btw.
