Great food and lovely atmosphere! I got a bacon burger and fries with Utah’s famous fry sauce. My wife got a chicken Caesar salad. The location is in downtown Salt Lake and easy walking distance from the Salt Palace.

Fantastic service and definitely doesn’t feel like a hotel bar at all! The food was fantastic — I got the burger. The sweet potato tots are super good, too. Make sure you get Brandy as your bartender — she has the best pour! Great vibe and ambient atmosphere that’s social but not too loud.

Four servers, eight tables. Not one acknowledged us for breakfast. Waited ten minutes, were not seated so we left. Went to dinner on Wednesday, again three servers, five tables, no attention to refills and wait time was horrendous. I understand it gets busy but they were busy in conversation rather than attention. Food was great, service was not.

We came here three times during our stay and although the staff was very friendly the food takes forever here, even with simple items and when the restaurant is not very busy. The food is delicious though! I’ve never seen a blood orange vinaigrette before and it was incredible. The breakfast burrito and bison sliders were also great. I did not however care for the yogurt in the parfait. Great fries though and the tomato basil soup was also amazing.

I was pulled out of a tour bus after I had breakfast with my family. The hostess and a valet she called over for muscle accused me of not paying for our meal. I showed her the charge on my bank app but that wasn’t good enough. I was marched back in the restaurant with her in the front and the valet immediately behind me while the tour bus waited. The waiter immediately told her I was the wrong person. Why didn’t she bring him out to begin with? Instead I had rejoined the tour and was left insulted and angry. My day was ruined.

Food seem to be prepared by people with no experience for the price I paid I say not worth it. I saw the hostess being extremely rude and racist towards a family that was in front of me saying they didn’t pay and then started saying racist remarks how “you people try to steal all the time.” When in fact they had payed in front of me. The valet dragged them inside to talk to staff inside and that staff said that they had pay and that wasn’t the person that didn’t pay.

Food was good, but service was awful. Took almost 15 minutes to seat us and there were only 2 tables with people. We had to find someone to seat us. 2 of 3 ordered drinks and only one of us got our drink. I can attest that the rest of the low star reviews are accurate.

We were under the impression that this place was open till 10pm. There was even a chalkboard in the lobby of the hotel with the cocktail hours posted as 4-10 pm. We walk into Copper Canyon at 8:30 and were told they would be closing in 20 minutes. I feel like that is something they should advertise, especially if you are staying there because they have a bar.
