We were from out of town at an event in Sellersburg but try to go to local places for food whenever possible. This had great reviews and didn’t disappoint. It definitely has a small town restaurant feel to it because that’s exactly what it is. Our server greeted several people who came in by name, and I get the sense it’s a favorite local hangout. I had one of the best southwestern omelettes I’ve ever had.

brought home order to go. OMG. country fried steak with three sides. meat was tender and good. gravy had good flavor too. all three sides were good too. green beans seasoned like Aunt Bernice’s, Cole slaw is one of the best i’ve ever had and mashed potatoes with gravy, better than KFC. dinner roll good quality too. every thing was so good. every bite. I definitely will eat their food again. prices are just right too. i definitely recommend.

Delicious down home country cooking at an unbeatable price. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit, having biscuits and gravy, a French toast Bologna and cheese sandwich, and fried fish with mashed potatoes. Very friendly service, and we got our food very quickly. Highly recommend if you’re passing through. Bonus, they’re very supportive of the military and law enforcement.

Waited an hour for our kids eggs after sitting down. The adults finished their food after waiting 45 minutes, but the 4 kids orders never arrived. Waitress was rude, neglectful and unhelpful. She strung us along when we asked status of the food by pointing to the prep counter saying that’s probably ours. It wasn’t. They were busy and we wouldn’t have minded waiting if someone would have actually checked on the order any of the 4 times we asked instead of ignoring us to take other orders. We never did get their food and they left hungry and disappointed.

You have literally DOUBLED YOUR PRICES. RIPPING FOLKS OFF FOR AVERAGE FOOD. ***Your sarcastic response says it all*** I did clearly have a choice to order or not. Most of the menus online for your restaurant clearly show prices that are half of what you currently charge for some entrees, not all. I have read your responses to other critics and its loud and clear what you really think of your customers.

This place is just wonderful. I’ve been here twice now and the staff are the friendliest they can come and make you feel at home. They have great home cooking and I love coming here whenever I’m in town. I highly recommend.

If you want a down home, back in time feel, this is it. This place is awesome. The food is fantastic, the staff make you feel like family, and they don’t rush anybody. It has the diner atmosphere and the small town feel that I haven’t found anywhere else. I make this a regular place to go. I never get tired of it. If you’re around, stop in and say hi. They’re awesome people.
