The quality of the food was excellent but the customer service was even more impressive. Jay (not sure if he was part owner but he took orders behind the counter) was incredibly polite and patiently explained the menu items since I didn’t speak Spanish. I was very happy with my dining experience at this restaurant and wish them continued success!

I ordered 28 empanadas and also a Mofongo with steak when I tell you, I have not tasted anything this delicious, in 4 years I’ve moved to Florida 4years ago I live in Orlando and this is in Stanford. I will drive 45 minutes every single time just to get to this wonderful delicious Meal….. and from the looks of the photos, you can tell my husband was very, very satisfied… A HAPPY HUSBAND A HAPPY WIFE….. MAY the Lord bless this restaurant a the hands that make this delicious food. God bless you all.

I absolutely love it here. I have not had authentic Puerto Rican dishes since my abuela made them. The rice almost bought tears to my eyes thinking of all the good times we shared in the kitchen. The Empanadas were wonderful and the Pernil was a salty but not overly salty and tasted exquisite. The tostones were fresh and served with Mayo-ketchup. The perfect combination. Coqui is well worth the 2 hour drive once or twice a month! Please open a location near Ocala.

First time eating here! The customer service is unbelievable! You feel like you just arrived at a relative house. Very clean and cozy. The food was amazing! Best mofongo by far. The red snapper was delicious and tender. Definitely coming back!

I have ordered from here before and flavor over all is good. This time I ordered the carne frita mofongo and was very disappointed at how burnt the meat. $15 for 4 pieces of thin burnt meat and mofongo was not worth it for me. The alcapurias, rice and beans were good though.

The service, the staff are all so gracious & kind to the customers that dine, take-out or plan to cater.
