BEST IN GREENVILLE! Coral was recommended as the best place for seafood in the area. We tried appetizers and drinks before THE DELICIOUS entrees. Our server, Greg, was amazing. We thoroughly enjoyed our dinner, and highly recommend Coral for an excellent culinary experience.

We scored some seats at the bar for an impromptu date night and we were not disappointed. We sat and laughed over their lavender bees knees (AMAZING), dinner which was also some of the best food we’ve had in Greenville, and then dessert. Their pastry chef deserves so many songs and praises! I hope they never get rid of her.

First time for dinner last evening. Great space – large open bar area and well designed quiet intimate dining area. Our waitress was very professional and efficient. Dinner started nicely with delicious mussels and crusty bread. Wedge salad split for us which we appreciated. My wife enjoyed her Chilean sea bass but at $44? I had the scallops over mushroom risotto. This is not the place to get delicately flavored risotto. So much cheese; was like kids menu Mac n cheese at OCharleys. I could see mushrooms. Then the first of my four quarter sized scallops was buttery then the second was YUCK and why I ate half of the also YUCKY third I do not know. Someone in the kitchen should have known to stop scallop service. Anyway the dinner $36 cost was removed.

Food and service were fantastic. Oysters were very fresh and our fish entree’s were expertly prepared. Our waiter, Zach, was so knowledgeable and attentive. His recommendations were spot on. Management staff checked on us numerous times. Incredibly friendly and very professional. This was an easy 5 stars. Do not pass on a chance to dine or have drinks here.

Enjoyed a nice evening out with friends. I ordered the Halibut and my husband had the chicken piccata. My halibut was excellent, soft and flaky in the middle. The drinks were great and so was the service. My only complaint was the bread that we ordered (yes, they charge you for bread and butter). The bread was chewy like it was reheated in the microwave. The manager at the time was coming around the restaurant asking how dinner was and we had informed him. When we received the bill, we were still charged. It was only $6 so we didn’t make a big deal of it. Overall, great establishment. We’ll be back.

You must try the Talidor scallops, the mix of flavors leaves you wanting to keep ordering more. The Halibut, Flounder, and Scallops were also amazing. Zach was dead on with his recommendations in each case, then when we thought we couldn’t take another bite, he told us there was no way to leave without trying the English Toffee Pudding. So good! Coral remains top of our seafood favorites here in Greenville, and tonight didn’t disappoint.

Such fantastic and warm service from Beth, Greg and Sonnie. We enjoyed our apps and cocktails in the bar and our dinner in the dining room. We felt welcome and cared for, the staff were extremely attentive and food & drinks were delicious and quick to come to the table. We are excited to return for another special night!
