Amazing authentic Mexican food serving staples and some comfort classics. I was super pleased to finally find a place that makes a proper cheese enchilada with the correct types of cheese (no cheddar cheese ones here!). My partner ordered a burrito and loved it. The rice and beans we both had were great. To top it all off, the interior is beautiful! Come here and enjoy the decor, sit on the front patio, or order take out. You can’t go wrong.

Had the chicken Oaxaca plate. Chicken was dry and lukewarm with some hot spots. Spiciness was excellent. Consistent with old chicken heated unevenly for a few minutes. Rice was also lukewarm, dry, with a few hard grains. Beans and salsa were average.

Ordered 3 veggie taco plate and veggie burrito. Taco was good but no guacomole. Also it was not very flavorful and could be better with some cauliflower. Burrito was not very good. Just plain beans and rice inside. No cheese, no veggies. Price is good but also you get very less quantity.

I’m only giving it 4 stars over all because I didn’t really like my burrito. I had the super shrimp and ordered a steak quesadilla for my nephew. He loved it. – said the meat was really good. My burrito had some sort of slaw or salad in it I didn’t care for that kept the cheese cold. However, the service was great and the kid that took my order was friendly. The place was clean. It was late but you could see they were on top of keeping things clean. The biggest bonus: they’re open til MIDNIGHT. I got there about 20 minutes to closing and they were still friendly and I was out within 15 minutes. Maybe because it’s food from the Yucatan peninsula in Mexico (each region has its own style of making a lot of the same dishes) and I’m used to other spices and styles from Mexico so it could just be me so I’m going back to try something else

For some real Mexican food that is truly authentic and delicious you must come here. You don’t know what you are missing if you are getting your burritos,tacos and bowls at Chipotle! After eating a bowl from Corazon I will never step foot in a Chipotle again. Besides the amazingly tasting food you are supporting a local business and not this massive corporate entity. Don’t get me wrong I am not anti corporate I do my fair share of shopping at some big name stores. It when it comes down to better tasting food, quality ingredients from family recipes you have to go small business. The guacamole was so fresh and was the best I have had since being in Los Cabos. The steak in my salad bowl was perfectly seasoned and the fresh salsa had a kick. Check them out. Skip Chipotle and I guarantee that you will never step foot in a Chipotle again.
