Driving through town, seen the reviews, hesitated to stop. Breakfast hot, plates scotching hot. Service fantastic. I seen the reviews regarding cold food. I don’t know how because the plates came straight out of hell . Very clean restrooms and nicely decorated.

I’m giving only the one star simply for the waitress, she was nice. But the food and the prices were completely outrageous. The beans tasted like they came from a can and put straight on a plate. The tortillas, right out of a package and thrown in a microwave. Something about the meat tasted completely off. My Tejana bowl, was filled with so much sauce I couldn’t taste my food other than the egg.

Don’t bother with this place. Over 45 minutes to get food. French fries were raw. Food tasted like it sat under heat lamp for hours. Horrible food. Service not much better. Go to Taco Bell just up the street. Better food & better prices.

Overcharged us, argued about it, threw boxes at us 15 minutes before closing trying to get us out, then made us wait 30 minutes to pay our check while we stood at the bar waiting to leave and pay. Food, drinks, bathrooms were absolutely disgusting. If you’re hungry while traveling through Walsenburg…stick it out and go to the next town.

My whole family ended up sick from this food! It shouldn’t even be considered Mexican food. It’s like the scraps you find in the dumpster back behind the restaurant. I wouldn’t trust the meat there for the life of me. Might as well cook roadkill under your hood, you’d have the same result. And to top it all off the staff has a very poor attitude and don’t seem to understand what customer service is. This whole restaurant should be ashamed of its food and staff.

I’m only giving this 2 stars because the server was friendly and the chips and salsa were good. Rest of the food deserves zero stars. I ordered the enchilada trio plate and it tasted nothing like Mexican food. Beans were clumpy, rice tasted burnt, the “beef” in the enchilada tasted like anything but beef. The plate in general had a distinct, unpleasant odor to it. Disappointing for sure.

That was without a doubt the worst Mexican food I have ever eaten. It was almost inedible. The pulled chicken had been cooked in overly salt water that made the entire meal taste like a mouth full of seawater.
