Our new favorite place in town! We have been here three times, and every time has been delicious! Steaks are good and always cooked to order. Fish is fresh. The entrees come with the salad/soup bar and a side. The cheesecake is better than Cheesecake Factory! It’s so smooth.

Solid steakhouse in Evansville. The interior was welcoming as were the staff. The menu comes on an old cleaver. Very cool. We had some good recommendations for drinks and meals. House specials are nice. I tried the prime rib. It was a little overcooked (medium) but tasted great. Their au jus is spot on. I really liked their twice baked potato and would recommend it. They have a nice salad bar that comes with the meal. We tried all sorts of stuff- their seafood was pretty good also. No complaints from our group. Prices and portions are both reasonable.

I had my birthday dinner here yesterday and couldnt be more pleased with the food or the service. I had the King crab legs and my Mother had the special of baked scallops. Of course the wonderful salad bar was included! Our waiter was great, as was all the staff. One gentlemen even helped escort my Mother to the car at the end of the meal. I got a complimentary dessert to finish the meal, a piece of fozen Mudslide pie.

Was told when making reservations there was going to be a band. There was not any. Friday night they were out of catch fish. Reservation for 6, the waitress had to put together a table or we had to eat in our laps. Red snapper fish was cooked too hard.

Thank God Evansville still has this gem! Still banging after all these years! While the building is older, at least it’s tidy & clean. Wait staff is well groomed and attentive. Can you please teach other Evansville eateries how to do it right?! Salad bar still the best in town.

I love the food and it’s been a favorite for years. I like going local. They are very hard to reach on the phone. I realize they are busy and short handed at times but the last time I was in the guy who was working up front was talking to customers (completely personal stuff and stories) letting the phone ring and ring. It was like this on the way in and out. I realized then why I’ve had this problem. If they were full and not taking reservations, they should still answer. People place to go.
