Was in Houston overnight due to a flight cancellation. This place was worth the layover. Luckily I was there in a Thursday so line up was not too bad. Brisket was amazing moist soft melt in your mouth smoked goodness. Staff was fantastic as well. I’m considering flying to Houston just for this brisket!!

Best brisket I’ve ever had. Boy was it worth the 1+ hour waiting in line! So tender and you get to choose moist (fatty), lean, or mixed. i think it depends on availability but the guy on the register was very cool and I got what exactly what I wanted even though we were nearing the end of the line. We got there around 11.00 and got our food on our table around 12.30 (they were sold out by around 1.30pm) It was Saturday. Service was also great, and event though it was scorching hot out, they kept the place cool with fans etc. Overall an awesome experience.

The best brisket House tacos I have ever eaten. I’m a lightweight when it comes to portion size and spice. I would never eat two whole tacos in a regular taco place, but oh my word, these tacos were so amazingly delicious that I couldn’t stop eating them. The sweet and spicy coleslaw is so good. It’s the beautiful, flavorful, fresh jalapenos that make everything top-notch.

Corkscrew BBQ is such a great place to go to if you’re in the Houston area looking for some authentic Texas bbq. During the weekdays, it’s not too busy, but the weekends can get busy and you’ll have to wait a long time in line. Everyone there is so nice and welcoming as well. I appreciate everyone being nice and helpful with any questions I had. The food itself is absolutely amazing !!! i highly recommend the brisket and the potato salad. The parking situation can be hard, but there is paid parking somewhere around the area. I love this place and will definitely recommend to anyone!

I ordered a brisket plate and creamy potato salad. It taste so good and one of the best brisket I ever taste. Also potato salad was so good. All staffs were friendly and helpful. In addition to that, we spend more than 1 hour there after our lunch and they were so friendly. However, I think it is much busier during the weekend since went there in week days so it will not be that easy to stay and hangout after lunch during weekends.

When looking for a good BBQ place we are lucky in Houston to have an extensive selección of awesome places but this one is a must! Located in the cute town of Spring Texas of 45 North. Parking is limited even do they do have extra parking spaces by the railroad side but there is a parking lot on the next street for 5 bucks. Every day there is a line to enter but moves fast once open. All the meets are tender with a balanced flavor and the sauce is delicious. For extra seating, there is a backyard with tables. The sliced brisket sandwich with a side of slaw and the whole hog sandwich comes with pulled pork, sausage, and a rib that includes its sauce. This tray was full of flavor very juicy and tender. Hope you enjoy it as much as we did.

Really good brisket, I recommend coming early so they don’t run out of food. The meats are soft and moist. The service is outstanding as well. They have a waiter that comes around that you can make additional orders and get extra barbecue sauce.

This place has been on my list for several years and finally made my way over there. We tried everything but the pulled pork. Their coleslaw was great and the meats were smoked to perfection. Great BBQ!!!
