Service was phenomenal at Corky’s. Super fast and beyond friendly staff. Had burger, fries, and onion rings. Wouldn’t say the food is excellent but very good for the most part. They have some can beer options and wine. Parking was easy enough. Outside patio is neat. All-around happy with our experience.

The atmosphere is just plain fun. But I was excited to find the food to be very good also. There are lots of options for burgers and hot dogs but I just wanted a regular hamburger. When I said “no bun” the server asked if I wanted a lettuce wrap. Yes, please! It was awesome.

The barbecue combo plate was delicious, with right balance of tang and spices. The meat, ribs and half a chicken were cooked perfectly. Then, the Cajun fries and onion rings were the accompliment to a good barbecue. Music and friendly staff made this a great establishment after a long hike through the Pisgah National Forest.

Corky’s has outstanding food and service. Their location is a little tricky to get in and out of with bigger vehicles but overall a nice little restaurant. Their milkshakes are out of this world and their food has great flavor profile. Their prices unfortunately are on the high end.

Fun place, quirky decor, good food options, nice indoor and outdoor seating, overall very good place for a bite to eat. We had three types of dogs (Chicago, Carolina, and Kielbasa), the Corky Salad (basically a Cobb salad with French Fries!), and a twist milkshake which are hand spun. The dogs were good, I liked the actually meat (especially the all beef), while there was a lot on the dogs they weren’t impossible to eat by hand, and the owner (Corky we are assumimg) came over to check on how everything was. Good place, we recommend if you like hotdogs ans milkshakes.

Finally came in after months of first hearing about it. Now I am upset I hadn’t sooner. It is not at all what I imagined. The inside decor does not match the outside. I love it! The food surpassed anything I had hoped for. I ordered the BBQ burger and I fell in love. A perfectly fried egg a top a juicy meat patty with onion rings, macaroni and cheese and bbq sauce. I added an extra slice of american cheese to mine. It was….heavenly. I have now adopted this diner as my post hike meal go to. It is just up the road from Pisgah National Forest. My fiancée ordered the philly, being the moet properly menu item they serve. He claims it is better than any he has had in the greater Asheville area. I tried a bite and have to agree. Everything was perfect!
