Love this place. A nice local run seafood restaurant with great food and welcoming people. From the locals at the bar to the waiters and managers, everyone is very friendly and helpful. A big plus form me when I have 3 hungry kids that are acting up. I’ve had the roast beef galley which and the fried clams and both were great. My favorite thing about the Galley though is the vintage nautical decor. I always appreciate places that refuse to give up the heritage that makes Long Island great. When there’s a fish up on the wall, ship’s steering wheel, some orange lanterns, count me in!

I asked for the eggplant Parmigiano, it was the best I have ever tasted. The salad was very fresh, crunchy and flavorful. The pitcher of sangria was delicious. I took home part of the meal.

Always a great meal at the corner galley. Staff are always nice and accommodating. Cannot beat the salad and beer/wine with a meal. The best deal in town. It is low key and down home.

Called to order out a steak sandwich and was given an attitude by the woman who answered because she didn’t understand me. I decided I would go there since I was working around the corner and decided to bring my two coworkers along. The food was mid grade but the service there and the attitude the lady had was brutal again. Never again, this place needs to hire some class. What a disaster.

I’ve passed this place a thousand times, but today we went in. Totally blown away. The place was packed on a Thursday night and now I know why. Wine and beer come with any entree. A full menu including a long list of appetizers. We got the Bavarian pretzel and coconut shrimp. Amazing. The choice of entrees, unbelievable. Weekly specials, seafood specials. I got the seafood fra diavlo and my daughter got the rib eye special. So good. We were so full, the portions were gigantic. Prices were fantastic. This is our new restaurant. It’s rare that I’m blown away by a restaurant these days, but this is a hidden gem. I shouldn’t even be leaving this review, it’s the best kept secret.
