Stopped by chance while driving backroads to our destination. Seat yourself. Waitstaff extremely attentive even though they were swamped. Photo is of the queen prime rib with hash brown and Swiss cheese (never been offered Swiss before) not pictured brandy old fashioned, Cabernet and a fresh and crunchy side salad. Atmosphere was simple diner look and open. Not too loud surprisingly. Would stop again.

First visit for me and it was prime rib night! Wow, tender and tasty and if you like shrooms and onions, spend the extra $2 and plan for a to go box. Then hit the deli at the cash register and bring home some excellent local cheeses! PS, excellent brandy old fashions! 5 stars and highly recommend!

While motorcycling Hwy 78 we stopped here in the town of Argyle for a break and a snack. Friendly people and the poppers were great. The deli counter had a nice selection of cheeses so if you want some Limberger, you might find it here 🙂

Went last Saturday and had the prime rib, it was the best I’ve ever had. It melted in your mouth and then we got dessert to take home and that was just as good. I think I have a standing date with this place every Saturday now
