Always friendly and fast service. Bait & tackle, guns & ammo, gas and convenience store, and an excellent place to sit down and enjoy or take out very good food with an up north atmosphere and the family, friendly feel you expect from up north Minnesota. Perfect for a fast service of an early morning hot meal before that early fishing or hunting excursion close to some of the best hunting and fishing in MN.

Twice in a row my food order for take out took 25 minutes. A hot beef sandwich that had about 3 tough pieces of roast beef in it. I did call and let them know but nothing was ever done about compensation. I won’t be coming back. I finally got a SORRY RESPONSE AFTER MANY MONTHS. SORRY IS JUST A WORD TO ME…ACTION! LIKE MAKING THIS RIGHT WITH ME

Our waitress was slow at the beginning. However everyone was very friendly. The food was mediocre diner food but filled our bellies. We didn’t check out the store but plan on sending my husband for some milk soon. As we were leaving we saw some lunch plates and those looked really good, kinda regretting breakfast.

I’ve been to this restaurant twice. The first time was great. The food was good and the server was nice. The second trip…my very hungry two year old and I arrived at 12:55. We were not greeted at all. A waitress walked near our table, looked at us and then turned around and went to the other side of the restaurant. No one came to our table until 1:10. 15 minutes we sat there with not so much as hello! When the waitress did come she made no apologies for the wait. My family won’t be coming back. It was a very unpleasant experience!
