Once arrived, our host Gabriel was delightful and welcoming. Then it was downhill from there once we got our waitress. To start, menu is very difficult to read. Also, I noticed prices are different than online menu I had looked at previously. When I asked questions about items I had seen on online pictures in the reviews, like the famous sancocho, the waitress felt absolutely bothered. Sancocho is only on Saturdays by the way! Her attitude and facial expressions can spoil a meal. Believe the reviews, service is not enjoyable. At that point, I wanted something quick to munch on and leave. The Alcapurrias were tasty and mofongo was flavorful as well.

My family and I really enjoyed this place the food was really very very good the Chuletas (pork chops ) Can Can were amazing and huge .. the rice was excellent and on the night we went had live music ! very casual Boricua spot if your in the mood for Puerto Rican cuisine try this spot I’d give it an overall 3 1/2 stars due to the odd liquor lic they have which prohibited most hard liquor from being served and what they did serve (sangria, wines, etc) were on the weak but I will definitely return and I’ll bring my flask to umm spice up the drink because the food definitely demands a return visit!

I ordered the whole red snapper. They informed me that they only had the snapper fillet. So OK, no problem, it’s still snapper. I ordered a side salad. They brought out the snapper and side salad on the same plate. They only had French dressing, no other salad dressing at all. My first bite of salad I could taste spoiled tomatoes. Yucky. I informed the waitress to bring me another plate to put the entire salad on since the tomatoes were spoiled and she could take that plate away. She left the salad plate on my table with the spoiled tomatoes just in my face. She brought me half done plantains instead. Then I asked her to bring me some hot or spicy sauce. She said to give her a second to seat some guest that had just walked in. I waited while she sat them, took their order, went got them some water, and then answered her phone. I went to the counter and asked another waitress for the hot sauce as my fish was super cold by this time. The water also tasted like it was straight out of the toilet, so I had to ask for bottled water. This was my first & last time dining and purchasing anything from this restaurant. I would not recommend it to my worst enemy!

A fast food location converted into Corozal Restaurant. Located in Zephyrhills, the restaurant has typical Puerto Rican food and some Spanish dishes (paella). We ordered the sampler – 3 empanadillas (chicken, been and pizza) and a sorullo. The sampler was miniature fritters and the beef and chicken were the best.

Nothing wrong with the food, but the service, they gotta do something about it. I wonder who the Manager is. To get a refill or service from the waitress is a challenge. It almost feel like they are hidding behind the bar to not serve you. Again, food is awesome, but the poor service ruins the whole experience. Hope you guys can take a look at this. BTW Angelitos music was great.
