Small little place with good food and friendly service. I had the banana nut waffle, hubby had the country fried steak breakfast and kids had waffles. Hubbys was by far the best. I wasn’t the biggest fan of the waffle. But it was good. Just not great. But I tasted my husbands and it was really good! Eggs were great, steak was great, and grits were great.

Prices aren’t accurate online! Ordered a to-go large pancake with one topping. It ended up being double what the price says on here. I was shocked when the cashier told me I owed over $10. I told her I just got a pancake. She confirmed the price. I told her the price it said on here and she laughed saying they’d be out of business if they had those prices and they need to be updated online. I told her I never would’ve paid over $10 for a pancake with a topping if I knew the accurate price before ordering. The pancake was…well, a pancake and tasted fine, but not worth over $10. Disappointed in the customer service more than the pancake itself.

We ate breakfast at Cortez Cafe for the first time this vacation. The seafood omelette with hollandaise sauce was absolutely amazing!!! We loved eating there and went back again. A now a favorite must do when we go back again next year. Phenomenal service and food!!

After researching for the great breakfast place we decided to follow the 4.8 stars reviews to the Cortés café. Atmosphere is very nice and service was decent, size of food were humongous, but the quality of food was horrible!! After eating nasty Greek omelette, and my friend had polish sausage and eggs. Instead of sausage, he’s got a hotdog cut in half and sprinkled with some green bell pepper… our bill was $42,48 + tip. We left $50 lighter and will NEVER suggest to anyone to eat there.
