This is hands down one of the best burrito shops in the country. I’ve lived in Chicago, Arizona, and California…I’m 34 years old…and to this day I have not found a burrito shop better than Cortez. Quality ingredients says it all. I highly highly recommend. I probably eat here at least once a week…and I almost never go out to eat because I love cooking.

quality of food is average. it’s good, but nothing special. the owner was extremely rude. we were waiting for our order number to be called (never was called) but he didnt call us and everyone who ordered after us got their food first. if i was giving him the benefit of the doubt and we didn’t hear them he called us up by saying “do you want your food today or tomorrow?” in a very rude tone. at first i thought he was joking but then he got angry and started saying that he called us. he didn’t. he called everyone else before calling us up. if you speak spanish, he’ll treat you like a normal human being. if you don’t, you’ll probably have a similar experience to mine.
