Atmosphere was so close to being fine dining, but maybe they don’t want to be. Aged building but kept up, older tables but not dirty, and dimmed lights but for the setting.

We kept putting off trying Cortona’s for some reason. But, we were so happy we tried it! The food was amazing and it’s a great ambiance. Everyone was very friendly and making sure you have a great experience. We will definitely be back. We went as a family and tried the salmon, gnocchi, spaghetti with meatballs & the special which was the scallops and mahi mahi with a white wine sauce. It was all so good! We will be back. For Italian restaurants this is in the top tier for the area by far! There are a couple others we really like, but now that we know this is in Fortville we are probably going to have this as our new go to!

This is one of the best pasta dishes I’ve ever had! Cortona’s SCREAMS authenticity and makes most of their pasta varieties fresh, in-house every day. These tri-color cheese tortellinis were matched with a smoky cream & red pepper sauce, prosciutto, and a goat cheese crumble. The perfect bite had a little bit of all these elements. Everyone should try this restaurant, and definitely this dish. I enjoyed every bite!!

We went for my sister’s birthday. Had a great meal with a fantastic server. Spent $400 on dinner (before tip) – the waitress forgot to charge us for four shots of limoncello and the owner had her void the whole check and add $40 to our bill…after we paid and tipped. We are happy to pay our bill, but having a long background in restaurant industry- it was a real turn off – knowing those shots cost pennies. The waitress (who again was amazing) was clearly terrified for the error. Before this he stopped over to make sure we would leave a positive review on yelp. We will not return just knowing how he treats his staff and doesn’t get the basics of service.

We celebrated a dear friend’s birthday . The service is impeccable. The food is always on the spot delicious. Choice of wines n cocktails delightful. I had the Gnocchi Primavera which was the best I ever had. This place is a true reflection of the beautiful owners, the talented Simone and graceful beauty Beth!

Went here last night for 1st time. You can tell food was microwaved to reheat, came cold in center for lasagna but hot on outter portion. The Margherita was so strong and syrupy i could barely drink it. Honestly left the drink untouched after 2 sips. My husband got the pasta with sausage added. That wasn’t the greatest, was lukewarm upon arrival. His drink the godfather was extremely strong he only took one sip and was done. Otherwise he couldn’t drive us home. The prices we paid was not worth it for the low quality. The service honestly felt as if they thought we were gonna dine n dash, since we requested to eat outside. Other patrons outside didnt get the attention our table did every two mins from servers coming to table. Honestly just not impressed in general with whole experience here. Yes we did tip $10 to server, we always do regardless of service provided. Only brought home barely touched food due to feeling bad about not liking it to only toss in trash when we got home. We shall not make any further visits at this restaurant in the future.

Excellent food and service. We went there to celebrate our anniversary. I had the veal saltimbocca and my husband had seafood linguini. Both were excellent. Prices reasonable for celebrating special occasions. A little high for every day dining.
