Another great place in Wallingford. Really a small little shop, the counter service was friendly and helpful. The food was great. Had the enchiladas with chicken, a few tacos, and the chicharones preparado. All tasted great. Food came out .

Food was okay but was chargers $3 extra for topping and wasn’t even told. The mangoanda was so small I wouldn’t even pay $6 for it If I even knew it was one little Scoop of ice cream and 5 pieces of mango. They didn’t even want to give me the spicy stick it came with. I would have honestly just went to Rita’s up the street where I knew it was cheaper but at least I can say I try it but definitely won’t be back.

Although I have yet to try their food, I went in for a smoothie and a mangonada and they were pretty good. The smoothies are just natural frozen fruit and water but it was refreshing. The customer service was pretty good and the restaurant is very nice inside.

I moved to CT from CA and have been searching for years for a place that has authentic tasting mexican and elotero food. Elote, mangonada, tostilocos. Cositas Ricas has it all as well as an impressive fresh fruit bar. Their burritos also taste very much like the taco trucks I miss which is a huge plus.
