It has been 12 years since visiting Clarksburg last. The store was under the name Morino’s back then. I was very pleased to discover that there were some menu items from the previous owners. The big John sandwich was outstanding, just like I remembered. We also had the chicken Alfredo and pizza. Those were excellent we really enjoyed the food.

Very disappointed. The shrimp scampi was the smallest portion I’ve ever seen. The shrimp was gummy and somehow very gritty. The noodles and sauce were just all around bad. The Village Idiot had almost no meat, no cheese and, no toppings on a stale bun. The spaghetti and sauce were ok but, the meatballs were very bland and unseasoned. The apple pie was still frozen. Very disappointing for an almost $80 meal for my family. I don’t think we’ll be trying them again. The only bright spot was the homemade chips. They were good. And the staff and delivery driver were very nice. Unfortunately, the food was not.

Cliff is very friendly and helpful and his food is always good but the last time we had take out his food this time around was mediocre. It didn’t have the heart and soul put into it and the food tasted like a microwave dinner you buy at a grocery store. The hamburgers are very dry but flavorful. The shrimp are normally the Shell on the tail are always taken off but this time it had the Shell on in the shrimp Alfredo. The lasagna lacked pasta sauce that you would normally get with lasagna. I will recommend Cosmo’s Kitchen for anyone cause of the food is always good and the hospitality from Cliff.
