Fast service, the food tasted fresh & fairly priced. The only downside was the portions were on the smaller side. Regardless will definitely be coming back again

This used to be my go-to for pupusas, but I feel like they’ve gone downhill. Ordered six, but they mistakenly thought I said 12. No big deal considering I thought I’d be getting the deliciousness I was accustomed to. I asked for their yummy green sauce. The lady said they didn’t have any for pupusas. (This was like the fourth occasion she’s told me that.) I told her I was willing to pay for the sauce, but she said they wouldn’t have any until tomorrow. The pork and cheese was basically nonexistent in the pupusas and they were kinda dry. I’m all about supporting small businesses, but I’m not sure if I’ll be giving my hard earned money to this establishment again.

Papusas and plantains were delicious! Friendly staff. It’s a food truck with some tables and covered seating, but don’t let that fool you, the food was on point!!!

I’m a ‘non-traditional’ student at SHSU. I’ve been eating at Costa del Sol for the last 3 semesters. Some days, their pupusas, curtido, pollo guisada, atreet tacos, and Jamaica were the only thing that got me through some 14-hour days. The food is consistently great! The service is super friendly. In the coldest days of winter, they’d drag out a heater for me. The ladies that own the establishment have introduced me to amazing Salvadoran specialties. My favorite dish is the curtido. In fact, their curtido might be one of might favorite dishes of all time. Whose favorite dish is cabbage?! Mine!! I’d highly recommend anything here. Also-the fried yucca puts McD’s fries to shame…just sayin…

We ordered pupusas, they took a long time to make them. They came out all soggy and burnt. I wouldn’t recommend to buy so many at a time for their prices and it not being that good.

Just walked up to order some food, asked where to order (since there was no signage and it looked closed up), and was yelled at in some rude tone to go order around the other side.. so I gave it the benefit of the doubt and went around to order.
