My boyfriend and I were looking for a breakfast burrito to fuel up before heading up to the mountains. We found this hidden gem inside a Mobil Gas Station and a lovely lady who took our order! Come checked it out! It was the first gas station to the right off HWY 2. They had sausage, bacon and chorizo for their breakfast burrito and came with hot sauce and spicy avocado crema sauce, which was delicious! We will be going back again for sure!

Fast, friendly service and their food is pretty good too! I ordered 5 adobada tacos, 5 asada tacos, an adobada burrito, asada quesadilla, 2 fish tacos, and some sides and while it took them some time to prepare, it was not a big deal. This place is inside the food mart off Hwy 2 so there us zero atmosphere but decent parking out front, but they are good people and the food was better than expected, about a 3.5/5. Everything was tasty and had generous meat, but the fish tacos were the standout. Fresh tasting and tangy, spicy sauce that we really enjoyed. Don’t miss this spot. Easily one of my top 3 mex in Monroe.

Truly great Taqueria! The carnitas blows other “street fair” out of the water at Omar’s, and they have this unique cantaloupe drink that’ll send you into orbit! Fast, friendly service with a smile and out of this world food!!! Highly recommend!

I heard about this place through a neighborhood Facebook group and I’m so glad I did! Best breakfast burritos in town! Filled with your choice of meat (sausage, bacon, or chorizo) eggs, cheese, and hashbrowns. It’s a really good sized portion for what you pay for. Also comes with a red salsa and green spicy cream avocado sauce. Can’t wait to go back!
