I’m probably biased because I come from LA but here goes. This food was catered to my workplace. I don’t know how this can be even labeled as Mexican. This is just a White™ American abomination. The chicken is dry. The rice I’m pretty sure is Greek for some reason??? It has to have shredded iceberg lettuce of course. And there were thick flour tortillas, no corn tortillas. I’m pretty sure the refried beans were also straight from a can. I know there’s a shortage of Mexican restaurants in the Denver area but please go somewhere else. Not worth it.

3 different people assembled the nachos I ordered. The last person to help make them was the guy running the cash register. When I asked for onions, instead of using the utensil, he grabbed them with his gloved hands. He proceeded to run the cash register and take my payment while wearing the same gloves. He then helped the next customer while wearing the same gloves. After being grossed out after arriving to my table, I went back and asked one of the employees to remake my nachos, which she did. She got onions from the back as well, instead of the contaminated container on the line. Unfortunately, this will be a mental block for me now and I will never be back to Costa Vida. That’s the risk for places that fix the food in front of you. Better have good food handling training in place. Unfortunately, this kind of thing happens all the time, but is going to typically be out of sight, out of mind.

Didn’t disappoint, not a great place but for the money and time it’s pretty good. The restaurant was clean and the service was friendly and fast. Ordered online and everything came out as wanted. We had the tacos (deviates slightly from traditional street tacos), sweet pork enchiladas (these were our favorite from here) and kids quesadillas. Be warned the sweet pork is good but real sweet (some hot Chula fixed it up right). So again this is just good, fast Mexican food—not amazing but easy on the wallet.

Got there about 5:40pm on a Sunday. Believe they close at 6pm. Main dining room had all the tables and chairs up and the bathrooms blocked. Got my order in about 10 minutes and asked if I could use the toilet. Now keep in mind I had just come from the mountains and really had to use the toilet! Got a dirty look from said sweeping guy and a reluctant yes.

Showed up at 8 pm tonight got food and was told, not asked, to sit in one of three tables because they were going to clean the dining area. I typically don’t like a high back, and like to sit in the dining area. Store closes at 9 pm. Read other reviews which have stated the same problem. Owner replied that he would address issue, if they have, employees don’t care or owner doesn’t. Never had this issue at a Cafe Rio. Just saying.

I ordered a Baja bowl and the chicken was fresh and well seasoned. They are consistent with online orders compared to the Qdoba and Chipotle near my house. The lady in charge of the online orders was so warm and friendly! 10 out of 10

Better tasting than other quick service burrito places in my opinion. I really the dog the sweet pork flour burrito when I have a sweet tooth. Be prepared to easily get two meals out of one burrito, huge portion.

It tastes like California Mexican, not Colorado or even Tex-Mex. It’s kinda unfair that we have a lot of authentic Mexican restaurants here, so it’s difficult for this to stand out against that. Doesn’t mean it’s bad, the food was cooked correctly and the staff were polite, etc. But it just doesn’t have the pizzazz of real Mexican or even Colorado Mexican and I can think of a couple of chains that do it better.

Finally something diffrent and better. Was tired of eating at chipotle and Qdoba. This place is different. Much better food choice, quality and backed by an amazing staff.
