This place was GREAT! Got the large salad. Its a burrito tortilla, layered with rice refried beans, we chose steak (which was right off the grill and FABULOUS) then lettuce and then they add guacamole, pico and cheese and top it with chips! OMGGGGG sooo good! Wished we had one in Chicago. WAAY better than Chipotle! But we think they might have been short handed. The one poor guy behind the counter was really working fast, but it seemed like there should have been two workers. The line to order was kinda long but the food was sure worth it!

She started my burrito with a large scoop of rice as I told her I wanted a refried bean burrito. She then grabbed another large scoop of rice. Then barely a spoonful of refried beans. Hot smothered burrito. I sat inside as I was celebrating that I’d just bought a brand new home yesterday. Then paying over $10 for a tortilla full of 99% rice. Couldn’t even taste the beans. I ate half & left.

Recently, Costa Vida reduced portion sizes and added extra fees for items, also regular instances of incorrect orders, and then being hesitant to correct or replace a mistake. It’s like the employees are scared, resulting in a lower experience. It was good before, not great but good, now it’s just alright. Certainly, better than other food chains on the area.

It’s a Gourmet Taco Bell at best..better know what you want before you step up to the plate..Better than Chipotle..but that is the style..quality is better than expected..but price isn’t. Overall better than expected! They raised a low bar higher!

Staff was not the most knowledgeable when asking questions about dishes, but overall super friendly staff and went above standards for food service employees. Great fast food chain in a smaller town if looking for a spot to stop for lunch/dinner.

This place was a favorite takeout spot for the last few years. Tonight though I got my usual sweet pork burrito and it tasted awful. I just thought it was the sauce but it has to be the way the meat was prepped. Almost tasted like they made bbq pork instead of sweet pork.
