The first time I came food was 3/5 the only reason I came back was because of Michelle at the window. She’s GREAT! As a business owner, she upsold, advertised, gave great customer service, gave recommendations and gave me a menu before giving me my food! I went a couple days ago during my lunch break. I ordered the jumbo chicken sandwich and that’s what I got! The chicken was piled high. There were a few spots were it was sauceless. You can request extra sauce, but that an extra charge (about $0.59, nothing crazy) .I didn’t have to wait long for my food. I’ll definitely go back.

They say a picture is worth a 1000 words.. Delicious! It was the best BBQ 40yrs ago in Center Point…. Its still the best in Birmingham. Highly recommend hitting the drive thru at Lakeshore Pkwy

Food quality was really good and the price was very reasonable. Everything came out hot and tasty. What lowered the rating was appearance and speed of service. The former double drive thru was blocked off to only one lane and the shack/building was falling apart, making my approach questionable. The outside menu was dilapidated and hard to read from fading caused by the sun and it was difficult to communicate my order via the ancient speaker system. I only ordered 4 BBQ plates with two fried aides and it took roughly 10 minutes to get the order in hand. It was just after 5 pm and there was one car behind mine. Bottom line is if you have the time to kill and want decent BBQ for a reasonable price, then go for it.

The food was cooked fully and OVERLY COOKED. The sauce is basically nectar for hummingbirds. The chicken was dry and I found, not 1 but 2, sharp and shredded chicken bones inside my mouth. The potato salad was bland. I had to add dill, salt and onion powder to make it edible. All in all, this food sucks. Seems like people with no sense of taste or palate and no love for quality of food work there.

I have always visited this restaurant in the past for their delicious chef salads !!I recently went here on my lunch break the lady at the speaker was very mean and unprofessional she rolled her eyes when we approached her at the window for no reason!! We were surprised she was even working with such a hateful attitude !!I just blew it off and said maybe she having a bad day …But when we got to work we notice the lady placed our ranch upside down in the bag on purpose all of ranch spilled out everywhere in the bag !! she flip me and my co workers ranch container on purpose what a waist of money !!Customers service is very bad rude staff is rude management did not try to accommodate us do not visit this place is terrible and rude to their customers !! You will not be getting my business again costa’s !
