Our order always comes like 20 minutes early. I’ll never understand why but that’s fine. It’s like one moment I’m thinking about ordering the savory butter Parmesan crust and the next moment it’s melting in my mouth. Homemade ranch goes dummy hard too.

Cottage Inn is widely known to be expensive relative to other pizza chains – but we’ve liked the product in the past. In advance of a gathering with people expecting to eat at 5:00, we placed our order at noon. On arriving at the store at 4:50, we were told “sorry, we’ve been getting a lot of orders; your order won’t be done for another 35 minutes. I understand that things happen, but decent service dictates that you at least call the customer; offer a price reduction, or something, for screwing up a party’s order after the customer went to the trouble of ordering five hours ahead of time.

This used to be the best one to stop at over the east lansing and holt locations, but in the past couple of months all my pizzas here have been bad. Either they’re overcooked or have barely any sauce, getting a good pizza has become a rare sight lately.

Cottage Inn is one of our go-to places for pizza. The pizza is great. Nice quality for the price. The toppings are “real” and not this fake over-processed stuff the cheap places use. There are usually coupons for Cottage Inn. I would recommend getting on their email list to have the daily coupons sent to you. They treat us well and make it a great experience when you visit. They also have a loyalty program which you can redeem points for products. This place is a top 2 pizza place for us. Breadsticks are also really good. I recommend this place a lot!!

I like cottage inn pizza. My issues relate to the service. Two of the last 3 times we have ordered delivery, they have erroneously marked our order for pick-up. After the first time, we have been explicitly clear so that they would hopefully avoid this again. But apparently that was too much to expect. While a verbal apology is appreciated, waiting nearly 2 hours for a pizza is not. At the minimum, they should have picked up the tab.
