I travel a lot, and I always get pizza at least once when I go. I have had good and I have had bad, this is definitely the former. The crust is nice and chewy, as it should. The toppings were just right not overloaded and not skimpy. This was a really good pizza. I also ordered the wings. The skin was crispy, very nice. I would definitely recommend a stop here. The only issue I had was I ordered a piece of carrot cake and didn’t get a fork (I was staying in a hotel so that was a little problem). This was the only issue I had. Delivery was in time and everything was hot.

I called at 430 on a Wednesday and asked if they had “sweet pizza”. I clarified, “pizza with sweet sauce”. She said, “yea we have sweet pizza”. I ordered 2 pies (for $40 ). I got there 15 minutes later and they weren’t ready. We waited another 10-15 minutes, got our pizza, and left. I came home and took a bite and it’s just bread and cheese. No sauce, not to mention sweet sauce. I called and I asked what the deal was and she’s like “yeah we have Greek pizza. That’s our sauce. That’s how we make our pizza. Sorry.” No offer to fix things or anything.. just a big waste of money.

Just had a meatball sub and a pizza from The Cottage Restaurant in Ayer, MA. This was my first pizza from them and I got the “Main St” pizza, pepperoni, extra cheese, onions and mushrooms. The pizza was very, very good ; good cheese , nice sauce and the crust was delicious ! Meatball sub was good ; tasted like homemade meatballs . The bread was also nice and soft but hearty ! All in all , I’m definitely going back to The Cottage, great job !

Good solid food and drinks, easy to stop by on a road trip through Ayer. Right on Main Street, so convenient to walk around afterwards. Chicken tenders are made in-house and are very tasty. Would recommend

Stopped in for an mid evening snack with my husband after a long day. The ice cream was delicious and the service was friendly! Located on Main St. In downtown Ayer, The Cottage gives all the good feels of a small town ice creamery. The space is spacious yet feels cozy. They also serve pizza and other food options as well. They even have a seating outside for you to take in the sights and sounds of the main drag whil enjoying the delicious ice cream. Hubby and I will definitely be back!

Out of three local Pizza shops this is still my favorite to order from after nearly six years in the area. I have had nothing but pleasant interactions with all staff both in person and over the phone as well as the delivery drivers. My recent order was the first time there had been a mistake with what was delivered versus what was ordered but once I called the staff were apologetic and remade the incorrect portion of the order without hesitation. Great food and great service to say the least.
