We visited Cottage Restaurant for a Sunday breakfast for the first time. Reminiscent of an old time diner, this is a no frills quick breakfast. CASH ONLY and service was mediocre at best. The food was good for the price and a great value. If you are looking for a quick fill up and go, this is the place for you.

Great staff! Was greeted right when I walked in and the prices were amazing right to start off. Literally right when I was ready to order she was there to take it already regardless of being really busy. Food was amazing, absolutely delicious not to mention it came out super fast. Best service, food, prices, staff and atmosphere in baldwinsville ny! Absolutely will be recommended to friends and family and I will be back in soon.

LOVE THE COTTAGE! Every time, without fail, if the “other” breakfast spots in town are jam- packed on a weekend morning, I know I can avoid the hustle and bustle and skip the long wait times, being totally ignored and overlooked by employees who act like customers area bother… at the COTTAGE, I love it! Never a long wait. Friendly and fast service. Excellent home cooked food. Super prices. And they seem to know all their “regulars” by name. A hidden gem, Bville’s best little diner tucked away…. my “go-to” spot for a home cooked breakfast away from home.

Went in there for breakfast today, we have been there a few times before. Food is decent, service is hit or miss. Owner is always nice, I love that the prices are very affordable. But today our immediate experience wasn’t a great one. We went in and we’re told where to sit, we go to our table. Waitress gets our drink order. I start just looking around and see a young woman in the back kitchen playing with her hair, then continues to play with her hanging bangs. Then next I see her with the chip bag and her bare hands (no gloves) grabbing out chips and putting them on a plate. Cleanliness is MAJOR!!!!!!! That was disgusting, even if she had washed her hands I never want someone touching my food with bare hands. So unfortunately we walked out. Probably will not return either.

To start, love the fact that this place continues to keep their prices low for their customers is really good and I respect that. The Cottage Restaurant’ cleanliness on the other hand is mediocre at best. As soon as I sat down, I could see one of the younger kitchen staff playing with her hair, trying to look cute while working in the kitchen around food. Then afterwards, puts her hands in a bag of chips to plate another customers food with no gloves!! I walked out and will not be returning…..

A quaint little restaurant tucked in the heart of Baldwinsville. The place was bustling when I arrived, and all the available tables per Covid guidelines were full. Even when busy, the service did not falter. You can’t beat the prices and the portions. If you’re looking for a local feel and the comfort of homemade meals, I would recommend the Cottage Restaurant.
