Great hole in the wall. Reminds me of an old school burger place that was in New Orleans a long time ago. The old fashioned cheeseburger was delicious. As was the onion rings and fries. You can’t go wrong here. The prices are right and the food is delicious! Check ‘em out!!!

Delicious!! Disclaimer: These are photos from two different days. Nevertheless, this is probably one of the last home style, family oriented, cost affordable, restaurants left. Shrimp burger, Egg Burger, Cheeseburger, Fries, Onion Rings, and their Lemonade. All 10/10 would recommend!

This place is a Lake Charles institution! Absolutely love everything about it, and it’s the exact same as it was when I was young. If you like old fashioned burgers with awesome fries, this is the place for you. The staff is always great and they have a few long-time employees that really make it a great place to be. Also the prices are the best in town.

Tried to call Friday, July, 21, 2023 @ 1:35 pm before I got there to order my food but the lady that answered didn’t know how much nothing was so by the time I got there my food wasn’t ordered over the phone, well I drove up to the drive in window and no one was there so I was happy thinking I would just get my food faster since no one was in front of me in drive thru. So I hung up with the lady on the phone letting her know I was already there. Started ordering, a double cheeseburger with egg and small fries. Total $14 and some change. Oh my goodness, their prices are ridiculous. So my mom paid for that. Then I ordered the same burger but wanted my onions grilled with a small lemonade and guess what, they charged for grilled union had to pay $10 and some change for that, then guess what, I was told no lemonade after I paid for it, had me pull up to give me a Sprite. Bun wasn’t hot at all. Burger was just put together and not freshly hot. Too high in price to not have it fresh. Couldn’t even get to taste the good lemonade that I waited 3 years to do because I was in Georgia and just got back to Lake Charles, LA.

First off this place does not look a restaurant and if your not looking for it, then u might just pass it by. When the locals say it’s a hidden gem they aren’t lying. This place has a old fashioned diner vibe and the customer service is outstanding. Everything is made FRESH to order and handmade. We were on business and definitely will be coming back each time we visit.

No idea where all the good reviews come from but we were passing through Lake Charles and stopped in for lunch – they were pretty crowded so we assumed we could count on the reviews being correct but it was awful! The place is pretty dirty, the burgers look and taste like soy burgers and the shoestring onion rings were beyond greasy. The burger “fixings” were slopped on and mayo was dripping off the sides. I hate to say it but fast food burgers would have been much better and I can’t stand those!
