This was our first time at The Cotton House and I will definitely be back. The all you can eat crab legs were meaty and so good. The side of grits were delicious. Our server, Heather, was attentive and very friendly. She made us feel welcome. It is not fancy but very clean.

Great experience here! Staff was friendly and the food was excellent. A good mix of fried, steamed, and grilled foods. I only wish they had steamed oysters! I had the crawfish boil, and others at my table had the low country boil, fried shrimp, popcorn shrimp and flounder. It was all good! My in laws were celebrating their anniversary and they brought them a peach cobbler with vanilla ice cream. We will be back!

I was very happy to see a nice seafood restaurant open around here. It seems Irmo just does its best to keep places from opening. I’ve had the Captain’s Platter twice and thought it was very good. The She-Crab soup is excellent. Sweet Tea is perfect. Not that it’s all that important, but I thought the decor could use a makeover, but since they also double as an events venue, I guess booths and heavier tables and chairs aren’t possible. I wish I could get a job there, but the bar is not really meant to be a REAL bar, it seems. Still, it is a nice family restaurant with good seafood, which curiously is hard to find in these parts. I wish them the best of luck.

We found this restaurant on our way to Charleston by searching for nearby seafood restaurants …what a great find!! The staff was friendly, welcoming and responsive, and the food was terrific. Don’t miss the low country egg rolls while you wait for the rest of your delicious dinner. We’ve started it on our map as a definite stop on our next trip this way!

I let people have a chance to decide for themselves and don’t let bad reviews fray you away from a could be good restaurant. This is different. Me and my work buddies decided to try the all you can eat crab legs on Thursdays. Which was yesterday. First of all 35$ for all you can eat crab legs is just outrageous. But I didn’t complain because maybe it was quality. Our waitress was nice but she played us. Out of 20 tables there was maybe only 6-7 tables that people there. Mind you this is “ALL YOU CAN EAT.” So we get our first plate and ok crab legs cool I can dig it. The potatoes wasn’t bad. So we get done with our first batch than the waitress come with a trey of like 5 clusters. Mind you it is only 4 of us. But she only brings out 5 clusters. Listen to what I am saying there are only 6-7 tables but everybody not eating all you can eat crab legs. So 1-2 tables there have the all you can crab legs. That is including us. They gave the other folks(white) a whole freaking plate filled to the top of crab legs. I put it like this…..This place isn’t for black people obviously. Which I hate to make it about race but you get a table of 4 professional black guys I guess we shouldve expected this. 5 f*%*^!* clusters for 4 over 200lb men. We were there from 6-8pm and I still left hungry because most of that time we were waiting from 1 cluster every 15-20 min. ALL YOU CAN EAT crab legs my a**. Lets call it ALL YOU CAN WAIT. Thats exactly what I did. I am sorry yall but when I spend 35$ on some food and only feeding myself I want quality and great service. I sent my lemonade back because it tasted sour. Also my buddy did the same for his sweet tea. Anyway, if you go here you wasting your time and money. Don’t take my advice and you will leave that place saying WHY DID I NOT LISTEN TO MAASON.

The crab legs are great but are overpriced at $35 a person. And a reservation has to be made just for the all you can eat crab legs.

Thought we had found a great place to eat but after waiting for 2 hours for food, (which we should not have waited) the food was cold and not good. Service was horrible and we didn’t get all we ordered. Will not go back.
