Cottonwood has some of the best coffee in town. I started coming to cottonwood back in college when they were located in Waterloo. Back then, my friends and I would go there to work on our business ideas for opening a music studio. The owner would come over to learn more about what we were doing and our passions and even offered the upstairs as a potential solution to our ideas.

Wonderful! Love the food. Filling and slso healthy. Delicious sauces. Had the breakfast Scrambler. Steak and potatoes were also delicious as well as the Caribbean Pork Breakfast. All of us want to try their rice bowl lunches. Can sit out on the patio or eat in.

Yum! Our food was fresh and was definitely made to order. There are many options for customization, and the front staff are wonderful at assisting you in ordering. My grilled cheese had delicious bread and the cheese combo is delightful. Others in my party were equally pleased with their wrap and bowl. This is a must for those looking to eat lunch on the healthier side in Cedar Falls!

The staff that took my friend and I order was super sweet. The seating is fun and the coffee was absolutely amazing. My friend got the “chinolatino” and I got the “milky way” and they were so good. We also got a bear claw and a Cubano and both were delicious. Definitely plan to come back they did amazing.

We waited nearly 30 minutes for our food…and they weren’t busy. Not much for atmosphere. Restaurant is in an old house with fabulous woodwork, but it’s very cramped inside. You have to bus your own table when done.

I absolutely love this place!! The warm cozy environment and friendly staff make me a regular customer. The coffee is amazing and the food is unlike anything you can get anywhere around. It’s a great place to meet friends or for business. And they have board games available if you’re there for leisure. Definitely recommend you check out this hidden treasure!
