We stopped here on our way home not expecting much but the food here is amazing and our waitress was so kind! We were blown away by the delicious food and portion sizes! The wings were the best we’ve had in a long time. The only thing I would change is for a kids menu to be added. If you are passing through Horseshoe Bend you will not regret stopping here. We will be back!

The Begin
One of the worst dining experiences I’ve ever had. After a long day of work I went in and ordered myself a steak with shrimp. 3 families came in shortly after while I sat patiently waiting. 45 minutes later, every single customer in the Diner had had there food brought to them. Upset, I approached the manager/chef who was just then cooking my steak. As I was trying to ask what took so long, I was rudely interrupted mid sentence and it was “explained” to me that steak takes longer to cook. I switched my order to go and left. When I got to a place where I could enjoy my meal, I immediately noticed the lack of Shrimp that I paid for. Returning to the Diner, the chef told me that there was only a steak on my ticket. (Despite the order and having paid) My shrimp was made and I finally got back home to eat, only to notice a black hair in my mashed potatoes. A very unapologetic experience, poor service, and a clear lack of honesty. The truth was probably as simple as; that the waiter forgot to submit my order. Would not recommend based on the service and the poor handling of this situation.

The main meal here was great. I had the ribeye, for only 18.99, it was absolutely delicious. Another person with me had the mushroom burger and said that was great as well. Only 4 stars because their soup and salad bar were not that great. I heard the people before us tell the waitress that the soup was gone and there were 4 things empty at the salad bar. We waited 10 mins and they were never filled, so we just got whatever was there. I’m not a salad person, I wanted soup. It never got filled. This was 6:15 PM, so plenty of night left. It should have been filled. But the rest of the food was so good, that I can overlook the soup and salad bar. There was tons of mashed potatoes, tho very little veggie. Lots of choices on the menu, will definitely be back. Great atmosphere. Lots of wood, very “barn-like”. Quaint. Prices very reasonable.
