Inside of the building was old but that’s ok since it’s a small business in the country. The fried onion thins were great and very reasonably priced under $5 for an appetizer. I had the small blt which had plenty of bacon but the mac & cheese was bland with hardly any cheese. He had the large cod sandwich and boy was it large. Waitress was nice and never let the diet coke run dry. Would go again and get the onion thins but try something else from the menu.

There are other local, extremely mediocre places that locals seem to rave about, but you dont hear much about Country Barrel for some reason. All their food is delicious and nicely portioned. I loveee their big cod sandwich. Their food is always delicious, well seasoned, and tastes so professional. Fantastic little joint.

Get the same thing everytime I go, but they have a lot of good things. I get the breakfast scrambler, but there are REALLY good menu items. The service is consistent, even when the whole restaurant is packed and people are waiting to be seated. This is my weekly diner that I go too to get an old fashioned, great tasting, breakfast.
