This a must visit place for each and every time we visit the Louisiana family. Our order is always a burger, chili dog, and the best tasting vanilla ice or milk shake/malt. I tried something different this past visit a couple of weeks ago. The banana malt it didn’t disappoint .

This establishment has stood the test of time. One might complain that it’s always busy, but that’s a good thing. The ice cream is a must. (Four-legged family members love it, too!!) It is such a popular place that those who have moved from the area have it on their “must do” list when coming home again. UPDATE: It’s so terrible when you haven’t been in a while, and you do go only to discover that they are out of the chocolate ice cream!!

The food was good. Staff looks at me standing waiting to order and turn back around. I stood there for about 2 or 3 minutes. The restroom needed a thorough deep clean.
