Stopped here for lunch on the way to Wisconsin. The food was great!! My husband and I both had the julienne salad. Everything was fresh and they were very generous with the toppings. Saw some of the meals others around us were getting and they looked yummy as well and the portions were huge. Prices are reasonable. You get plenty of food for the money. The waitresses were smiling and friendly. The service was awesome. We come through the area several times a year. We will definitely be coming back!!

It was my first time here since the change in owner..loved the way they remodeled.. very inviting.. we got the walleye.. two orders of chicken strips and for my order they worked with me.. my “diet” can be difficult.. I got a grilled chicken lettuce wrap with tomato.. it was fantastic!.. the chicken strips were extremely good as well (I might have snuck a bite ;). ) everyone loved their food and the customer service was over the top!..the cook even came out to make sure that it was being made correctly .we will definitely be back!!.. highly recommend!!!!!!!

Absolutely fabulous service & delicious food! Had the turkey club that included not only home made soup but fries also. The turkey was Real turkey! SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO GOOD! We will be back! Great service, lots of quality home cooking and a great price! Thank You!!!

Older building with unimpressive decor. But if you are looking for good food and good service at a good price then you will like the Country Garden. Daily specials, good sandwiches and soup and senior specials. We have eaten here many times and find it very consistent. We will continue to eat here in the future. Breakfast is as good as most any place you will find close to I-57 from Chicago to Memphis.

Greeted quickly and friendly when we came through the door promptly served drinks and was given a few min to look over menu. Then waited 20 min and never had anymore service or asked. Watched waitress check cell phone twice another waitress go have a break and come back and manager on phone whole time. We got up and left after paying 5.00 for a half drank glass of tea and half drank glass of pepsi. Will not return to this establishment again.

The visit was in 2001 with my sister and brother-in-law from Rankin The service was excellent & friendly and the portions generous. The deep-fried chicken which was a thigh and leg was so tender and the juices flowing from it were tasty as could be. Mashed potatoes with melted butter so smooth and vegetables fresh and cooked just right.
