This was the first time I stopped in since they reopened after covid. Their hours have been cut back and my server explained that like most businesses, people got too used to collecting unemployment and, nobody wants to work anymore, so they are short staffed. The menu is limited but my food was good. I had the chicken fried steak and eggs with hash browns and toast. One of the ways I test a chicken fried steak is to see if I can cut it with my fork without using a knife. I never used my knife on the steak, it was cooked perfectly. My server was very friendly and courteous. Luckily I came in during a slow time of day. There were only about a half dozen people in the restaurant. With only one server and one cook I’d hate to see what it would be like during a rush. Kudos to the cook and server for providing a nice sit down dinner to an OTR driver.

We loved this place, close to home, food was great, but now…tried calling the restaurant and no one picks up the phone even though it says you are open. Called store desk and they transferred me and still no one answers. When you call it says western union. So sad.. gave 2 stars only cuz I used to like this place and food was good. I’m not going back and I’m not telling anybody about your place anymore.

The steer burger breakfast was terrible. The burger patty was a small frozen patty burnt it was hard like a hockey puck. The chicken fried steak was served with white gravy when brown was ordered. Extra gravy was ordered and never received. The biscuit was never brought to us and the portions were very small. I will never go there again. Prices are too high for what you get. Terrible place

The poor young lady, server. All alone without much support trying to serve a full room. Management needs to staff better. Also needs more training. Food was low class truck stop fare. Maybe expected, but hopeful for better.

We liked it enough to mentally tag it for a return stop on an upcoming trip through Montana. The chicken tenders and tater tots were the best I’ve ever had. Service was really top notch as well.

The sign on online hours say open til 9pm. At 8:03 we went in, saw the seat yourself sign and were to a table and half sat down, but were told they are changing their hours to close at 8pm and shown the door. The second star is because the staff was polite at least!

So i used to eat here all the time when Michelle was the manager here, since she quit and the new manager took over the place has been a wreck. I have eaten here a few times since the new management and employees started and i have had a complaint every time. The other day we went for dinner and the teriyaki rice bowl was given to us with the rice being so hard it could have broken a tooth! I literally almost broke my braces trying to eat a bite, and the fish from the fish dinner was not cooked all the way.. then we ordered a club sandwich and the bread was toasted in some spots and not toasted in others, the sandwich was not cut in 1/4ths like it should be, and there was no mayonnaise put on it and no packets given to put on it.
