My fiance and I visited this small town to visit family over the thanksgiving weekend. I read the reviews and we were initially not going to eat here. But in small towns there are only so many places open after 8pm. So starving after a long day of traveling we ended up here. Prime rib on the buffet. Everything was hot and tasted awesome! We ended up eating every meal here! The staff were friendly and eager to assist! Try the craze seasoning, it’s fabulous! We ended up buying some and bringing it back home to Tx. Sometimes, you just have to take a chance. We did, and it was a good one!

I believe this is the worst truck stop I have been to so far. The service was slow. They did not have 2 of the items I wanted to order at first (the meat loaf and their roast). So I settled for a sub and this moldy gross sandwich was what I got. I believe this violates some health codes. I have an autoimmune disease and I didn’t think i would have to ever ask for a mold and Salmonella free sub.

Service was great actually had breakfast and dinner here today. Seated ourselves and the waitress came over within minutes to get our drinks. Very friendly staff. Food was amazing all came out hot and fresh. Salad bar was good for dinner time, homemade pies were to die for. Will definitely be back since I drive from MO to CO every week.

Stopped in to get something to eat on our road trip. They weren’t busy and received absolutely no service at all. My family sat in a booth near the gas station entrance and we weren’t even acknowledged by the employees. Our patrons were sitting enjoying their meal near us. My husband and I walked up to the counter to look at the menu since they weren’t offered to us. There were two employees there and neither of them said anything to us, they acted like we weren’t even there. One employee even walked over to another booth near the counter, sat down, and proceeded to talk to who appeared to be his friend. So rude. We ended up walking out to the Subway down the corridor where we were greated with smiles and great customer service

came with a big party which is understandable but it shouldn’t have taken 30 minutes for the drinks. kinda angry about that. the apple juice, chocolate milk, and orange juice all tasted watered down. the food was good but i don’t think it was exactly work waiting to get our food after an hour and 6 minutes. thanks:(

I had a terrible experience at the restaurant. The waitress (possibly a manager) got my order wrong. I’d ordered the $12 steak. It seemed a bit larger than I’d expected. Was WAY over-cooked. I asked for rare and got medium well, barely any pink. When I got the bill only 10% had been taken off as a “Sr discount” (I’m a young-looking 41) as an apology for my over-cooked steak. However, the kicker is that she’d ordered me the ribeye. That was NOT a 12 oz ribeye! When I called her out on it she said that’s what she thought I’d ordered and I had already eaten it so there was nothing she could do. Seriously?! I had to pay for an $18 overcooked steak that was a wrong order. I was way too nice about it. In retrospect, I shouldn’t have paid at all.

I had the porterhouse with a baked potato. The potato wasn’t baked all the way and the steak had a rubber texture like it was froze and defrosted in a microwave for way too long. I can’t speak for the rest of the menu, but stay from steak and potatoes.

Such a warm wonderful welcoming place to sit and get warm after a long day of driving, the sirloin steak was perfect and the service was so friendly and fast. Will be returning!
