TA prices in general are waaaayyyyyy overpriced I get “inflation”, but TA is highway robbery. That said, the staff at this country pride was very friendly, and made sure I was attended too. Good experience, and my food was good.

The food was okay, I waited 45min for the cook(who was working in her outside hoodie) to change the buffet over after customer insisted . Get it together TA train your staff your better than that. Reminds me of seeing a person coming from work with their apron on at the bus stop smoking a cigarette .

Rib eye steak dinner wasn’t actually a real rib eye, it was like a few pieces of beef meshed together to look like a decent steak. More gristle than delicious beef. Grill marks but no sear on the steak, it looked gray like boiled beef. The cook doesn’t know which sides go on which plate, we transferred the sides to the correct plate at the table. Tator tots inedibly salty, server brought a second serving without the over the top saltiness. Server informed us that James was off today. They should put up a flag when James is cooking and a white flag when he isn’t. Sweet tea was great, icy cold and sweet. This is our second subpar meal when James isn’t working. Not sure it’s worth another try. So disappointing. Our truckers and other customers deserve much better!

Don’t come here if you need to leave in a timely manner. And you’ll need to actually walk into the kitchen and find a staff member if you’d like to get any kind of service. Actually you’ll have to remind them 2 or 3 times that you are still there and would like to have your food…..

Did a 34hr break here. Parking for oversized loads was nice. We ate in the restaurant 3 times all 3 times food was OK not great either over done dried out or under cooked. Staff was kind when you saw them. All 3 times my tea glass was empty when I finally got the attention of a waitress. The place was not busy. We had to find the waitress just to pay all 3 times. Staff was barely on the floor always in the back chatting with other workers. One gentleman who was in the restaurant after our food was brought out when we were finished and leaving I heard the waitress ask him if she ever brought him a menu. And no she hadn’t. For such a nice place the service is horrible. Can’t say never again my husband drives a truck but will never be my first choice of places to eat.
